Bisgaier Hoff Congratulates Timothy Touhey

Timothy J. Touhey, Chief Executive Officer of the New Jersey Builders Association, has been included on NJBIZ's Power 50 list of the most influential people in real estate. Touhey has been included on the list since NJBIZ started ranking the most powerful people in real estate in 2010. NJBIZ ranked the honorees according to who was the most active in the industry this year, who owns or manages the most property, as well as who has the ability to influence what happens. Touhey is ranked 24th, up from 28th in 2010.

"New Jersey's economy is dependent on the construction industry. When builders stop building, everyone feels the impact," states Touhey. "It is important to work closely with Trenton to enact legislation to jump start the construction industry and New Jersey's economy. I am honored that NJBIZ has recognized my work and the work of NJBA, its elected officers and staff."

Touhey is known for his market insight and reputation for moving initiatives forward. He has helped NJBA develop strong relationships with key state agencies and legislators to give NJBA and its members a voice in Trenton. Under his direction, NJBA has been successful in lobbying for numerous pro-building initiatives including the Permit Extension Acts and the Time of Application Law
