Newman is admitted to practice in New Jersey and Pennsylvania, and resides in Delran, NJ with his wife Sherri and their three children. The focus of his practice is general commercial litigation and construction disputes. Newman also has a strong background in maritime law.

Newman is a 1995 graduate of the United States Coast Guard Academy and holds a Bachelor of Science in Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering. Prior to earning his law degree in 2003 from Catholic University of America, he served as an officer/engineer with the United States Coast Guard from 1995 to 2002.
